Sanlam Universal Funds Plc: One of the key regulatory requirements of the UCITS IV Directive is to ensure that all investors receive a Key Investor Information Document (KIID) for the relevant UCITS fund before an investment is made. The KIID, which follows a prescribed format, is a two page disclosure document and is available from the Manager or the Registrar and Transfer Agent. The KIID is a pre-contractual requirement which you must receive before you or your clients invest. Sanlam Universal Funds Plc will publish KIID's each year end or as and when any material changes take place. The KIID aims to provide clear, simple investment information to investors by setting out the essential characteristics of each fund, to enable an investor to understand the nature and risk of the fund being offered for investment.
KIID is not produced for the Retail Investor Alternative Investment Funds or the Qualifying Investor Alternative Investment Fund.
